Our Story

In 1983, about 200 people came together to plant a church that taught Scripture faithfully. Forty years later, we remain on mission to help people worship, connect, grow, and serve in a Christ-centered community.

Our story has been one of stepping out in faith and stepping back to watch a faithful God do the miraculous. We have experienced a number of victories and challenges: a humble beginning in a school auditorium. Planting two churches. Staff and leadership changes. Three building programs. And navigating a pandemic. We’ve seen God provide again and again.

But this story isn’t just about our past—it’s about what God is still doing today. At SAPC, our mission is to help you joyfully know Jesus, love Him more, and serve Him better. Whatever challenges lie ahead, we believe they’re prime opportunities for God to show His power and grace.

As Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” We don’t know every step of the future, but we know the One who holds it. And we’d love for you to walk this journey of faith with us.
